I searched through my page not too long ago and was surprised that I didn’t share this song already.

I still remember when this song came out several years ago. Although I was already born again, I finally said Yes to God by giving Him a blank check for my life. I didn’t know what He would do or how He would do it, but I decided to trust Him wholeheartedly. During my worship sessions with Him, He brought up certain areas of my life that I hadn’t given to Him yet. I clearly heard Him say “I want that” (in reference to those things in my life that I didn’t submit to Him). Tearfully, I gave Him those things that I held onto and tried to do on my own. Fast forward several years later, God exceeded my expectations in those areas I submitted to Him that night. He went above and beyond in ways I could never imagine. I’ll make another post talking about the specifics of this testimony.

As we begin this brand new week, I’d like to encourage all of us to worship God and to give God every single area of our lives (including the areas that we hold near and dear to us, such as relationships and careers). If you are unsure which areas in your life you haven’t given Him, don’t fret because He will reveal it to you when you spend quality time with Him.
